Pedro Geraldes has spent over two decades creating objects and buildings with a single purpose: to leave something behind that lasts.

He has designed hydroelectric power plants and wine bottle holders.

He is the founder of Pedro Geraldes Studio, an architecture and design practice based in Porto.
As principal architect at EDP, he leads the design of industrial infrastructure across some of Portugal's most demanding hydroelectric sites - work that runs in parallel with residential and renovation projects conceived around the lives of the people who inhabit them.

Since 2010, he has been co-directing TEDxPorto - one of the top 20 TEDx events in the world and a reference in Portugal's intellectual and creative landscape.
He created CEPA wine, a line of handcrafted design objects that treat the act of serving wine as a problem worth solving beautifully.
He mentors teams, speaks about creativity and sustainability, and argues - persistently - that good design is never just about form - it's about offering something worth experiencing.

His thinking applies at every scale. From a building's structural logic to the weight of an object in your hand.

He studied at the German School of Porto, graduated with distinction in Architecture from FAUP, and completed post-graduate studies in Historic Building Rehabilitation at FEUP.

An idea worth spreading: stay curious.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts.

Far far away, behind the word mountains, far from the countries Vokalia and Consonantia, there live the blind texts. Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia. It is a paradisematic country, in which roasted parts of sentences fly into your mouth.
