NEIL

NEIL explores the direct relationship between light and the body, bringing the moon to the level of our sight.

Its circular form defines a continuous luminous field, where light ceases to be a projection and becomes something you can touch.

By bringing the moon to the level of the observer – a homage to the first human being to set foot on it – NEIL creates a moment of pause. 

The light is enveloping, homogeneous, constant.

The contrast between the enlarged luminous surface and the minimal support structure, conceived in a deep black, reinforces the essential character of the piece, reduced to the indispensable.

Its ability to rotate allows each position to reveal a different relationship within the space.

Its true expression lives in the contrast between light and shadow, between what is shown and what remains hidden, allowing each observer to find their own reading, intimate and continuous.

The negation of the object through the affirmation of light.
